2007 Orrville Cross - Oct. 14, 21, 28 & Nov. 4
OrrvilleCross is scheduled for 4 consecutive Sundays beginning October 14, and will take place on both the "traditional" Orr Park Wetlands Complex course and a brand-new course at The University of Akron Wayne College campus (Home of The Milk Race).

*Sunday October 14 - Orr Park Wetlands/Walking Trail Course
*Sunday October 21 - Orr Park Wetlands/Walking Trail Course
*Sunday October 28 - Wayne College campus
*Sunday November 4 - Wayne College campus

Registration begins at 12:30
C-Race - 30 minutes - 1:30 pm
B-Race - 45 minutes - 2:15 pm
A-Race - 60 minutes - 3:15 pm
Masters 35+ - 60 minutes - 3:18 pm

Series Overall Points Rules: Cash Prizes for top 3 A racers, Merchandise for B,C, Masters Points will be awarded to all finishers, but not DNFs, in each Race of the Series. Points will be awarded in each Category (A, B, C and Masters 35+ in accordance with this Points Schedule:
  • 1st - 30 points
  • 2nd - 28 points
  • 3rd - 27 points
  • 4th - 26 points
  • 5th - 25 points
  • 6th - 23 points
  • 7th - 21 points
  • 8th - 19 points
  • 9th - 17 points
  • 10th - 15 points
  • 11th - 14 points
  • 12th - 12 points
  • 13th - 10 points
  • 14th - 8 points
  • 15-19th - 6 points
  • 20th+ - 2 points
  • DNF - 0 points
Race results certified by the USA Cycling Official will be used to determine the Series points. The Promoter reserves the right to add sub-categories within each category (A, B, C, Masters 35+) in its sole discretion. Points may not be transferred from Category to Category. For example, if you race in the B Category in Races 1-3 and then move up to the A Category in Race 4, you do not lose your B Category points for Races 1-3, but you will start with 0 points in the A Category in Race 4. You must race in at least 3 of the Races in a single Category to be eligible for an overall Series prizes in that Category. If you DNF in a Race, that Race will count as an eligible Race for the overall Series even though you will receive 0 Series points for that Race. In the event of a tie in any placing in the overall Series points standings at the end of the Series, the racer with the higher number of Series points going into the last Race (and going back Race to Race until the tie is broken) will be awarded the higher position in the Series points standings.)
