Trey's Tour of Truckee - Prologue

A 3 a.m. wake-up and trip to Columbus started our travel day. The flight to Reno through Denver was uneventful. Our primary focus was getting to Trey's house, assembling and checking out our bikes, an auto tour of the area and settling in.

Beautiful and comfortable, this is Trey's house built on the side of a mountain about 600 feet above Truckee.

Zipping up
Looking down on the Donner Pass road, it is a long 6-7% grade of about 3.4 miles. We'll be on this Tuesday.
Trey had to water the Ponderosas and was caught zipping up.
