How to Make an Avatar

An Avatar is a small photo that identifies you on the forum. Whenever you post something, your avatar will be shown next to the posting. You can upload your avatar in the User Control Panel. It can't be any bigger than 100x100 pixels and 6KB file size.

To create your own avatar:
Find a picture you would like to use
In your photo editor, crop your pic into a square
In your photo editor, resize it to 100x100 pixels: "Image"-->"Resize"
In your photo editor there should be an option such as "File"-->"Save for Web" or "File"-->"Export"-->"Save for Web" or something like that
Save it as a JPG. It'll give you a choice to adjust resolution from minimum to maximum and will usually show the KB size as you adjust it
Go to the forum's User Control Panel to upload your completed avatar.
