Too bad this is the last year for the Ride for Sight. Thanks to Bob Batchelor for the best run race in Ohio. Bob has always put on a great race. The sponsors were great, the marshalls were great, Law Enforcement participation was great, the timing and standings were great, the frozen fruit cups were always the best. "Kudos to David Young for reeling in two potentially lethal breaks for John Lorson despite mechanical problems. Dave broke a rear derailleur cable and was locked in a monster 54X12 gear! He did show up for the sprint and placed 5th in the up-hill finish. Mark Bergman also had mechanical problems and almost sacrificed his manhood when his front derailleur surprised him with a sudden downshift to the small ring while standing on the one major climb in the race. No crash, but he never was able to fully catch on in time for the sprint. 11th Place for Mark. Wes, Ian, Carmella and Kristin made the Orrville Jersey proud with their 1st Place finishes.
